Pachoto Arts Band
Pachoto Arts Band is an extension of Katswe Sistahood’s movement building work whose focus is supporting girls and young women in Zimbabwe to ‘Reclaim their Bodies and Find their Voices.’ It provides a social commentary on women and girls’ daily struggles and victories through the use of performance art and expression.
Tadambura Ngetani is one of Pachoto’s Album that raises awareness about the various forms of violence faced by women as well as celebrating the change that has been brought about by SASA FAITH in Faith Communities. The main themes explored are around women’s leadership in the church, Sexual Gender-Based Violence as well as support for survivors. It serves as a call to Action for churches to Prevent Sexual Gender-Based Violence and HIV!
